Gas lamp post in Ship Yard

Gas lamp post. Mid C19, restored c1980. Cast-iron.
Approximately 3m high. Roll moulded base, fluted shaft tapers
to collar with single ladder arm. Lamp (now with automatic
control) has a ventilator on the top.
