Shop. C16 or earlier. Timber-framed and rendered with gabled
plain tile roof. Right-angle plan, abutting continuation of
roof of No.14 (qv).
EXTERIOR: 2-storey former parlour/solar cross-wing with gable
to street. 1st floor has a 2-light casement of 6 big panes.
Ground floor has C20 shop front with fascia and side pilasters
of more or less equal size; central slightly recessed door
with canted display windows either side. C20 rear extension
with gabled slate roof and oriel casement to rear yard.
INTERIOR: the frame is partially exposed, with spine beam and
substantial floor joists of squarish proportion. Parlour door
with arched doorhead in north-east flank can be seen from
interior of No.14.
