Mill house, now house. Mid C19. Gault Flemish-bond brick with ashlar dressings; hipped well roof with 4 stacks of varying heights.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 5-window range. Console bracketed eaves
with stone band beneath brackets. 1st floor has central
tripartite window with stone mullions and two 2-light
casements to each side, all with margin-glazing. Stone string
band between storeys and above felted tent-roofed verandah
with cast-iron anthemion-decorated openwork supports linked by
segmental arches. The ground floor behind the verandah has
four 2-light margin-glazed casements, each with fanlights
over, and a central margin-glazed door with moulded panel and
narrow side lights.
The north-west elevation has, on the 1st floor, three 12-pane
sash windows. The ground floor has 2 similar windows and a
cant-sided bay with hipped slate roof and margin-glazed fixed
or casement windows in each face. The south-east elevation is
of 3 bays of similar windows.
Rear service wing has lower eaves level and hipped slate roof;
simple casements and door openings.
