Stables and outbuildings now part of Youth Centre, early C19.
Red brick, part Flemish bond and part Flemish Garden Wall
bond.
EXTERIOR: single-storey range with hipped slate roof and
2-storey range at right-angles, with half-hipped slate roof.
The single-storey range has 3 double-hung sash windows of
16-panes, a door, a wider door opening and a 2-light casement.
The brickwork has change of build at about half the length. On
the west elevation is a C20 four-light window in old large
opening. The north elevation has a door and two C20 windows
overlooking garden. At the west end is an entrance with hood
on late C17 or early C18 carved consoles with plain pilasters
and door of small panes and margin glazing with 2 flush
panels. Chimney pot perched on ridge.
The 2-storey block has on its west front, 2 gabled dormers as
continuation of wall slope, with pointed brick arches over
2-light windows (one blocked). Loft door on upper floor now
with C20 window in opening and door fixed open. Ground floor
has wide, but blocked segmental opening, small blocked pointed
arched opening (kennels?) and 2 pointed arched openings; one a
door, one a 2-light window. Also one 2-light small-paned
casement, 2 further openings and a high level 3-light fixed
window.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: on the north-west corner is a fluted
cast-iron gate post with conical top and pair of wrought-iron
gates.
