Two houses, now with ground-floor shops. Early C18, refronted
and remodelled early C19. Painted stucco, steeply-pitched
slate roof with a C20 brick stack to the right return.
Double-depth plan with C20 rear additions and one single-depth
room over a flat carriage arch to the right.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 1:2:1-window range, with canted range to
left (No.7) and former carriage entry to right-hand early C19
extension. Eaves band; banded quoin to the right of the main
block; 8/8-pane sash windows in forward frames, two to the
main block with a wide space to the right marking position of
stack.
INTERIOR: altered early C19. The rooms to the first-floor
front retain reeded and coved cornicing and 6-panelled doors.
There is no access to the roof space.
