House, forming part of terraced row; with attached verandah.
c1826-30; altered. Painted stucco; slate roof with rendered
chimneys to left and right. Double-depth double-fronted plan,
with back extension.
2 storeys and 3 windows; moulded gutter cornice. Simple
verandah with wooden posts and arch-bracing to glazed roof.
The centre has a square-headed doorway with panelled door and
plain overlight, and at 1st floor above this a sashed window
without glazing bars, in a shouldered architrave with
keystone; to left and right are 2-storey bay windows with C20
glazing, that to the left rectangular and that to the right
canted, both with French windows at ground floor and flat
roofs.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Adjoins No.28 to right (qv) and No.30 to left (qv).
All the listed buildings in Marine Crescent, together with
those in Adelaide Terrace, Bath Street, Beach Lawn and Marine
Terrace, form a group in the Waterloo Conservation Area of
Crosby.
