Boundary wall approximately 100 metres long with railings and
gate piers to disused gateways. c1848. Wall of rendered brick
with coping and gate piers of tooled stone; cast-iron railings
and wrought-iron overthrow.
Wall approximately .50 metres high surmounted by turned
railings with barbed spearhead finials and turned tapering
standards with similar finials. Paired carriage gates at left
end blocked by railings; single pedestrian gate in centre
closed by cross-braced gates of similar bars.
Gate piers are square on plan chamfered and shaped to
segmental head to each face. Above pedestrian gate is scrolled
round-arched overthrow springing from clustered volutes and
with central square lamp bracket.
Included for group value as an integral part of Grange House.
