House and shop, now cafe. c1840 with later C19 shopfront,
altered. Orange-grey brick in Flemish bond at front, in
English garden-wall bond at rear; timber shopfront and
cornice; slate roof with brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 2-window front. Shopfront framed in
sunk-panel pilasters beneath broad sunk-panel fascia and
moulded cornice on scrolled foliate consoles. 4-light shop
window over raised panel riser has, to right, paired
sunk-panel doors, curved on plan, with blocked overlight; to
left, 4-panel door and overlight. First floor windows are
12-pane sashes with slender glazing bars and slightly cambered
arches. Moulded eaves cornice.
