House, now estate agency and clinic. Early C18 with earlier
origins; C20 alterations. Painted brick in Flemish bond at
front, with timber guttering on paired block modillions; rear
of orange-brown brick in stretcher bond; pantile roof.
EXTERIOR: 3-storey 5-bay front. C20 double doors between
meagre pilasters, with two 12-pane sash windows to left, one
16-pane sash to right: plain cornice overall. First floor has
three 12-pane sashes to left, one 16-pane sash to right; on
second floor, four unequal 9-pane sashes and one blocked
opening in centre. 4-course raised brick bands to first and
second floors. At right end of first floor, firemark. Rear: 2
storeys and attics; twin-gabled bays. Fenestration altered;
one 16-pane sash retains segmental brick arch. Raised brick
bands to first and attic floors.
INTERIOR: first floor front room lined with C17 panelling;
marble fireplace with hob grate.
