Farmhouse. Early C19. Dressed sandstone with ashlar plinth and brick modillion eaves course. Slate half-hipped roof. Two brick axial stacks behind ridge. PLAN: Double-depth plan with principal front room on either side of central entrance and service rooms at rear; outshut to rear left. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attic and cellar. Symmetrical 3-bay south east front with 16-pane sashes with finely cut stone flat arches and stone cills; central doorway with flush-panel door, top panels glazed and open porch with slate hipped canopy supported on slim cast-iron columns. At rear, north west, three 3-light casements with glazing bars on first floor with cambered stone arches, central doorway and single-storey outshut on right with brick chimney against side of house; small gabled dormer at centre. Sash windows and casements side elevations. INTERIOR not inspected.
