Circa 1900 recasing of C16 timber framed house. 2 storeys and attic, 3 windows.
Very high pitched roof, renewed in machine tile, with 2 hipped dormers. 2 compound
stacks, restored but with lower parts of narrow brick. Tile hung 1st floor, brick
ground floor. Late C19 and modern casements. Early C20 large projecting gabled
porch; and modern plank door. C20 rear extensions. Inside a house of circa 1600 with
2 full bays and centre and end half bays. Large exposed flat joists, several original
posts and a large beam with rounded steps to chamfer stops.
