Memorial to South African war, 1899-1902. Signed J. Whitehead and Sons Limited. Rock-faced stone with marble statue. Base has inscribed names. Panel with inscription and olive branch has trophy of arms beneath. Statue of Britannia holding wreath, shield and flag.
