2-8, Castrop-Rauxel Square

Uploader's Comments

Nos.2-8, Castrop-Rauxel Square, formerly Bond Terrace, renamed after the German town that is twinned with Wakefield. These Georgian houses were built by William Billington of Wakefield, who bought the site in 1840 and finished the houses in 1841.
Please note, Castrop is spelt with a C, not a K.
