Circa 1860 built for a local brewer. Castellated, coursed rock faced stone,
2 storeys with 3 storey machicollated turrets at ends of main block. Machicollated
battlements. Pointed casements with dripmoulds over. Buttress piers flanking
large central double doors under moulded Norman style arch. Single storey wings
in similar style. Conservatory to right hand with iron cresting. Picturesque._
