Latter part of C18 4 storeys and attic painted brick with brick dentil cornice.
Steep gable end slate roof. 3 windows the outer ones tripartite, flush framed
sashes, no glazing bars, flat stucco arches. The east gable end front to St
Nicholas Cliff has 3 storeys and attic, cornice moulding to gable. 3 window
front with central arched attic window, recessed sashes, no glazing bars, flat
stucco arches. Flower guards to 1st floor. Entrance in right hand bay on
ground floor - door of 6 fielded panels with semi-circular fanlight of scroll
and radial carved pattern (Ionic motif) in doorcase of panelled pilasters,
fluted scroll brackets, broken entablature and open pediment. One of earliest
surviving houses of late C18 development of the Cliff.
The listed buildings in Cliff Bridge Terrace form an important group.
