House unoccupied at time of survey (May 1986). Probably late C18 but possibly
earlier fabric concealed. Painted stone rubble and cob. Thatch roof with plain
ridge and gable ends. 2 brick stacks to rear.
Plan: as interior not accessible at time of survey, the plan and development could
not be fully ascertained. It appears to consist of a principal room to each side of
entrance passage with 2 short rear service wings forming a U-shape plan.
2 storeys. 3-window range. C19 fenestration entirely intact. Two 3-light
casements on each floor, 8 panes per light to upper storey, 10 panes per light to
ground floor windows which have timber shutters, flanking a 2-light casement. 8
panes per light over C19 6-panelled door. Late C18/early C19 fenestration
principally intact to rear wings. Large blocked opening to outer face of right-hand
rear wing.
