C15 or early C16 hall house. Exposed framing on south front shows left, centre
and one right bay of house, but a further right bay seems to have been removed.
Old tiled roof has overhanging eaves with plastered coved soffit. Arch brace
at right leads to bressummer. Some plaster and some painted brick filling.
Left bay tile hung on overhanging lst floor. 2 storeys, 3 windows, mostly Cl9
casements. West front shows extension probably of later Cl6. Visible framing
with brick filling on 1st floor. Rubble masonry with brick dressings below.
Curious brickwork at left has 4 arched niches on stone foundation, possibly
remnants of ovens. Cl8 and Cl9 additions and modern restorations.
