Elegant early C19 house of 2 storeys and attic. 3 windows. Fairly low pitched
slated roof with gable end to road forming pediment with moulded and mutuled
cornice. Yellow brick. Gauged brick arches to windows and recesses. Stone
lst floor band; and flat frieze and mutule cornice at eaves level. Projecting
bifurcated chimney breast rises from later C19 stuccoed central porch through
pediment and forms round-arched recesses on 1st and attic floors. Stone impost
band at 1st floor recess. Central lunette in attic and small square flanking
windows. lst floor windows sashes with delicate glazing bars. Ground floor
3-light sash windows without bars. l-storey supporting right wing. 2-storey
later Cl9 left wing. At left side set-back rendered screen wall with pediment
and arched recesses.
Rear elevation of similar design but of random stone with red brick quoins and
dressings.
