Detached farmhouse. C15 origins, modified. Local lias stone cut and squared: thatched roof with plain south gable,
hipped at north end; brick and stone chimney sticks. L-plan, 2 storeys, 4 bays. Horizontal bar casement windows of
several patterns, including some with iron-framed opening lights, all 3-light except bay 4, which are 2-light, mostly
with timber lintols: C20 boarded door and heavy frame to bay 2, set in slight recess under timber lintol: break in wall
line at bay 3, with lower bay 3 window projecting slightly. A long return wing on north side, of several dates,
including part of the farmhouse accommodation, under double Roman clay tile roof, then a lower farm building under
corrugated iron roof. Interior not seen, but reported are jointed crucks to the roof frame, possibly with windbraces.
