Detached farmhouse, now divided. C17 origins, modified. Local lias stone cut and squared, Ham stone dressings; double
Roman clay, tile roof between coped gables, with ball finial to south; brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 5 bays
three-light windows, mostly horizontal bar casements, but upper bays 1 and 2 have small panes: all lower windows except
to bay 5 have timber lintols, this last having voussoired segmental-arched head; window to lower bay 3 offset to
balance door between bays 2 and 3, which is set in moulded 4-centre archway with incised spandrils and square label;
additional plain bay added north of bay 5, which itself is probably an addition. Interior not seen, but outer room of
farmhouse proper has a 9-bay chamfered bead ceiling, and to rear an ovolo-mould mullioned window and doorway. (VAG
report, unpublished SRO, 1977).
