2. Latter part of C18, 3 storeys and basement broad red brick front, bands between storeys. Bracketed eaves cornice to gable end old pantile roof. 5 windows, flush architrave framed sashes, no glazing bars to ground floor, flat stone arches with keystones. Central door of 6 fielded panels, semi-circular fanlight, architrave ease with reeded console brackets to pediment hood, panelled soffit with roundel ornament in panels. Approached by flight of 5 steps with early C19 anthemion head rails returned to area. Interior has open tread staircase with shaped brackets, clustered shaft slender bannisters, swept rail, boxed in up to 1st floor.
All the listed buildings on the North Side from Nos 2 to 30 form a good group.
