C17 typical Wakefield farmhouse, extended. Original building of two storeys,
four windows. Stone, re-fronted in brick (No 9) and rendering (No 7). Modern
casements. Fairly high pitched swept roof with stone flags at eaves, Welsh
slate above. Three rebuilt ridge stacks. No 7 has chamfered stone door surround
with alternating block jambs; and a one-bay mid C19 extension with modern windows.
No 9 has a large gabled porch and a similar extension with later windows.
Inside, some exposed chamfered beams with good stops; and a C17 ceiling border
with fruit and flowers. Rear elevations of C18 red brick with small C19 windows.
