Wakefield Town Hall entrance gates

Uploader's Comments

The arms on the Town Hall gates have been used used by the City of Wakefield for at least five centuries. "Azure, a fleur-de-lis" (a golden lily on a blue shield). An ermine fimbriation was added in 1932. Note the white rose of Yorkshire below the arms.
