My great grandparents lived here in the late 1800s. William Lister and Hannah (Trennum) Lister. He was innkeeper of The Ships Inn. They had 12 children. Four died in infancy. One at age 19. All are buried in Dean Road Cemetery. My grandmother immigrated to Canada in 1912. So amazing to get to be there.
