1820 Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, sandstone "brick" with ashlar trim. Two storeys and basement pediment-gabled front. Stone slate roof and stone gable copings. Three bay depth with organ loft extenison to rear gable. Plain bank defining pediment with oculus. Round headed windows in squared ashlar surrounds with keystones. Ground floor built out in ashlar with porch c1860, cornice and blocking course. Architrave surround to doorway with rectangular fanlight, approached by flight of steps over area. Similar round headed windows to both floors of side elevations. Interior refurbished c1870-80 including gallery fronts, pews, pulpit and organ loft. Good hillside burial ground setting.
