Central part of C17 or early C18. 2-storeys, four wide bays. Painted brick
with big roof of stone flags repaired in newer stone slates. Tall stacks at
centre and ends, the latter incorporated in late C18 gabled cross wings of
3-storey, one wide bay. Right wing of coursed squared stone, left wing rendered.
Carved kneelers and atone copings to gable ends. C19 one-bar casements (except
3 sash windows with glazing bars in right wing). Wing windows in raised stone
surrounds. Central canted bay of early-mid C19. Central part sweeps low behind
and has two dormers. Two small extensions from wings. Some Yorkshire sashes
and some modern windows.
