The old Town Hall

Uploader's Comments

The old Town Hall was originally referred to as the new assembly rooms on 21st June 1798.
The sculpture, “Seams”, in front of the old Town Hall is by Oliver Barratt, inspired by the Yorkshire coalfields, which were part of Wakefields heritage, and represents the seams of coal.
