1842-3. Former Baptist Chapel. Red brick with stone dressings. Two and a half storeys and tall basement, three window end to road. Plain lower parts. First floor and half storey defined by Tuscan pilasters supporting and running through entablature at second floor level, Central raised parapet with scrolled abutments, small pediment and crude acroteria. Gauged flat brick arches and stone cills to windows with fancy glazing. Two flights of steps to six-panel double doors with panelled transom in narrow architraves with bracketed cornice hoods. Four-bay returns, pilasters in first bay.
