Animal house or stable. c1840. Dressed sandstone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roofs, coped pedimented gables and 2 square ventilators on roof ridge. Plinth and ashlar eaves band. Single storey.
West front, 7 openings arranged 2:3:2 with slightly projecting central section topped pediment. Central doorway with overlight flanked by single shuttered window, eitherside single doorways with overlights and beyond single shuttered windows. Rear, east front has 2 alternating doors
with overlights and 2 shuttered windows. This building forms part of the estate yard to Nostell Priory laid out for Charles W Winn (1795-1874).
