Bridge, formerly to Mellor Lodge. 1790s. For Samuel Oldknow.
Ashlar and rock-faced stone. Segmental keystone arch flanked
on either side by rock-faced square projections. Stone band
and parapet walls which are made of massive slabs of stone.
Gate posts are mounted centrally on each parapet wall.
Mellor Lodge was Samuel Oldknow's house.
