Farmhouse (No. 6), now house, and attached row of cottages probably
C18, altered. All coursed sandstone rubble; No. 6 has quoins,
stone slate roof with gable chimneys and a chimney behind the ridge; Nos.
7-10 have slate roof, 3 chimney stacks oh the ridge and one at the
right gable. No. 6 is set back, 3 bays L-shaped double-pile except
1st bay which has monopitched roof; others are double-pile single-
fronted. All 2 storeys: No. 6 has a plain doorway offset to the right,
a horizontal rectangular window to the left of this, and 2 large
rectangular casements on each floor, all with glazing bars. Others
have doorways on the left, one window on each floor - mostly altered
and some enlarged. Rear: all openings altered except doorways: left
end wall of No. 6 incorporates quoins of earlier building. Listed for
group value with Brandwood Fold Farmhouse (q.v.).
