5/32 Hawbank House -

G.V. II

House, now offices. Late C18 with wings to side and rear of 1984. Flemish bond brick with stone dressings and slate roof. 3-bay central-entrance plan with 2 storeys. The outbuildings to either side have been replaced with large wings which are in a similar style. Stone plinth, modillion eaves cornice and hipped roof. The central bay is slightly advanced and has an 8-panel door with side panels and a semi-elliptical radial fanlight; a sash window on the first floor and is pedimented. Bays 1 and 3 have windows on each floor as do the 3-bay wings to either side. All windows have flat brick arches, stone sills and glazing bars. Large C20 wing to rear. Interior much altered.
