THORNTON DALE HIGH STREET SE 8383 (south side) 14/114 Kim, Hill Cottage and Peartree Cottage GV II Three houses. 2 builds of C18 with later alteration. Squared sandstone; pantile roof; brick stacks. 2-storey, 5-window front. Centre, and centre left and right C20 doors. 2-light, small-pane horizontal sliding sash to right of centre door and fixed-light window at end left; remaining ground floor windows are 3-light casements with glazing bars. First floor centre window is 2-light, large-pane horizontal sliding sash, and remaining first floor windows are 3-light casements. Painted sills to all windows. Painted lintels to all openings. End left, left of centre and right of centre stacks. Included for group value.
