Boundary wall and gateway. Circa 1800. Ham stone ashlar, cast iron gates. Walls have plain copings, having been
heightened by 2 courses of tooled stone with curved drops at each end; central gateway with square piers having plain
plinths, thin frieze bands and plain caps with bell-hipped tops. Gates of Regency pattern with diamond interlacing to
bottom rail, circular ornament to middle rail and segmental arched top rails without spikes: the whole contributing
both to the general streetscene and to the setting of the Coach House (q.v).
