C16 restored. 2 storeys timber-framed with plaster infill. Tiled roof. Gable
front with shaped bargeboards. Curved braces, 1 3 light casement. Original
timbers of Tudor arch with blank shields and leaf decorations in the spandrels.
At the rear of the gateway to the left is a portion of 2 storeys pebble dash
with projecting joists, I sliding sash, 1 3-light casement.

Nos 46 to 48 (consec) and Gatehouse to St John's Hospital form a group.
