The following buildings shall be added:

698-1/9/723 Nos. 2 and 4 - Shoresfold Cottages

GV 29.4.74 II

Probably farmhouse, now 2 cottages. Probably late C17;
altered. Coursed sandstone rubble painted white, stone slate
roof. Linear plan. A low 2-storey 4-window range with three
2-light horizontal-sliding sashes at ground floor, a C20 door
immediately left of the first and another door between the 1st
and 2nd, and 4 similar windows under the eaves, most of these
windows, with 4-paned lights. Two ridge chimneys to the
right-hand half, another chimney to the front left corner. Two
large cruciform tie-plates at left end. Rear not inspected.
Interior not inspected, but likely to contain features of
interest.
