Former toll house, now a shop. c 1780 with C20 alterations. Built
to serve the Leeds to Skipton Turnpike. Coursed dressed stone
with a slate hipped roof. Single storey. West front has a single
glazing bar sash to left, and to right a C20 glazed door with a
large painted lintel which extends over a flanking blocked window
to left. Canted south front has central blind front, with
flanking side fronts each with a C20 casement. Rear front has a
single storey lean-to addition.
