Late C18. 3 storeys in ashlar. Slate roof. Moulded eaves cornice. 2 outer
double-hung sash windows with keystone; 2 different sized central casements.
First floor left hand sash with round head. Solid porch to ground floor built
out with cornice and blocking course. Garden front: 3 storeys, 4 symmetrical
sash windows with stone heads and keystones and glazed Doric porch on right.
Painted eaves cornice. Front elevation: left hand section of 2 storeys and ground
floor garage. One sash window with glazing bars and small window to each floor.
First floor has later glazing bars and one bay.

No 5A and Red Gates form a group.
