C16/C17 considerably altered. 2 storeys and attic stucco faced, upper floors,
boxed overhang, painted brick ground floor. No 52 has 2 stuccoed gables above
eaves. Stucco faced gabled dormer to No 51. Steep gable end partly old tile
roof. Irregular C19 sash window and casements flush framed on No 52. Plain
4 panel doors in pilaster surrounds with small cornice. South front, to Choristers
Green, of No 52 has gable with plain C19 bargeboards and superimposed late
C19 rectangular bay window. Interior of No 52 retains elements of timber +
structure. Wall posts and in attic remains of roof structure collar, some
of principals, crown post truss and massive tie beams, purlins and windbrace.

All the listed buildings in the Close form an outstanding group.
