Fursdon Lodge

II

Lodge to Fursdon House. Circa early/mid C19. Local stone rubble; slate roof, gabled at ends; projecting end stacks with brick shafts, the right end shaft diagonally-set. Single-storey, two room plan with a rear outshut with a brick rear wall and stone returns; central entrance into right hand room which is larger. Symmetrical two window front with steps up to a Tudor arched central moulded stone doorway with a panelled front door with studs; C20 gabled timber porch. Two-light iron casements with glazing bars and stone square-headed hoodmoulds with label stops.

Interior not inspected.

The Lodge is sited on what was the road to Fursdon, the road is now a track on private land.
