Stanley Ferry Aqueduct

A Grade I Listed Building in Normanton, Wakefield

Two aqueducts over the River Calder

Uploader's Comments

The original iron aqueduct was deemed to be unsafe to canal traffic and was bypassed by a concrete structure in 1981. Repairs were carried out to the grade I listed aqueduct, but boats must use the one on the left of picture.
