6/34 Hughes monument in the churchye
about 2m north of chancel of
Church of St. Mary

GV II

Chest tomb, c1780, ashlar with slab sides, baluster corners and
moulded capstone. Sides have delicate incised borders and low
relief decoration each side. North side inscription to John Hughes
died 1776. No inscription to south.
