3/10001 Lion Lodge

GV II

Lodge. Early C19. Rendered over limestone rubble with hipped
scantled slate roof and rendered end stacks, one with Tudor-style
pot. Rectangular plan. Tudor Picturesque style. One storey
with attic; 2-window range. Central gabled porch with elaborate
cusped bargeboards and hood mould over moulded Tudor-arched
doorway; plank inner door. Label moulds over 2-light Tudor-
arched mullioned windows with sunk spandrels and leaded lights
to casements; gabled half-doorways with carved bargeboards and
chamfered shoulder-arched lights. Service outshut to right, and
mid C20 porch to rear.
