Cottage mid Cl7 with C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Limewashed rubble, painted
stone dressings, stone slate roof. Central staircase plan. Front is continuous
outshut to Cl7 house: 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central entrance has chamfered surround,
early C20 door. Small left-hand ground floor window and far left-hand entrance
to outbuilding. Right-hand 2-light ground floor flat faced mullioned window
sashes. Upper floor: left-hand former 2-light chamfered window, mullion missing,
4 pane sashes: right-hand 2 light chamfered mullioned window, casements. Right-
hand and right of centre ridge stacks. Rear includes 2 ground floor windows:
former 3 and former 4 light double chamfered with only one ovolo mullion remaining
in each window. 2 upper floor double chamfered mullioned windows; one former
4 light, now only one mullion remaining, and one former 3 lights with no mullions,
Yorkshire sliding sash. Interior includes early C18 fireplace with corbelled
mantel, diamond moulding and cornice.
