House. Late C17 rear wing, mid-C18 front, with C20 alterations. Slobbered,
squared rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. Front: 2 storeys, 3 bays.
Entrance left of centre has plain surround, 6 panel door. Flanking ground
floor 4-light recessed flat faced mullioned windows. 3 similar upper floor
windows: one 3-light and two 2-light 2 pane casements and fixed lights.
Sundial between floors at slight angle to facade: fluted Ionic pilasters and
entablature, slate face with iron gnomon. Plain eaves modillions, gable end
ridge stacks. Rear wing: 2 cell-plan, storeys, 2 bays. Central entrance
has plain lintel, half-glazed door, c1970. Right-hand ground floor 2-light
chamfered mullioned window, left-hand similar but mullion missing. Upper floor
left-hand single light chamfered and right-hand former 2-light chamfered window,
mullion missing. C20 casements. Left-hand projecting round gable-end stack.
Interior: stone stairs, with late C17/early C18 closed string and turned
balusters. Front room contains mid C18 fireplace with corbelled jambs.
