Cottage. C16 or earlier origins, and C17. Timber-framed. Infill and same
rebuilding of colourwashed brick. Thatched roof; Cl9 brick stack. 2-unit plan;
with C20 additions to rear. One storey and attic; 2-window range. To left is an
old plank- door and adjoining 3-light casement. Canted bay and 3-light casement
to right. Glazing bars throughout. Swept dormers have cross-glazed 2-light
casements throughout. All casements are C20. Right return side has renewed
crucks. Interior has full cruck truss with smoke blackening. Central brick stack
(probably inserted) has open fireplace, partly restored bressumer and large
hood.
