C17 or earlier timber framed range with later gabled cross-wing at right, probably
early C18. Much C19 alteration and recasing. Very high pitched tiled roofs.
3 later gabled dormers with bargeboards. 2 storeys and attic, 3 and 1 windows.
1st floor mock half timbering and plaster filling. Ground floor left C19 red
brick. Right wing graduated galletted coursed rubble with red brick dressings
and random rubble plinth. Half-basement openings. C19 casements. No 22 at
right has oriel above shop window. At left a gabled, one-window projection.
At back of right wing a massive offset stack with rubble masonry below, brickwork
above, tumbled in at offsets; and tall shaft with heavy cornice.
