Row of former Almshouses. Dated I84l. Symmetrical elevation of random stone
with chased stone quoins and dressings to windows and doors. 1 storey and ½
gable-ended dormers. Ridge tile roof with brick ridge stacks. At either end
projecting octagon bays and oversailing gable ends with C19 brackets and pendants.
In centre, raised stone pedimented end with carved armorial shield and date,

Nos 2 to 16 (even) and their forecourt wall form a group with Nos 1 & 3 High Street
and the Screen Wall to North.
