of Phoenix House

II

2 houses, now house. c.1800, mid C19. Red brick. Hipped
concrete tiled roof with moulded brick eaves and single ridge
stack. 3 storey, 3 bay south front with first and second floor
bands. Doorway to left with wedge lintel, overlight and plank
door. 2 plain sashes to right. 2 plain sashes above flank a
blind opening. 2 smaller plain sashes above flank a small blind
opening. All the windows with wedge lintels and segmental
heads. 3 storey, 3 bay east front with first and second floor
bands. Blocked doorway to right with plain sash inserted with
wedge lintel. Blocked window to left with plain sash beyond with
segmental head and wedge lintel. 3 plain sashes above with
segmental heads and wedge lintels. 2 smaller plain sashes above.
Additions to north and west of no interest. Phoenix House is not
included in this list.
