7/176 Woodhouse Farmhouse
II

Farmhouse. Circa 1600. Square-panelled timber-framing with
painted brick nogging, Bridgwater tiled roof with gable end brick
stacks. Single-storey, 2-window. Six-panelled door in rustic
porch to right of centre, 3-light casement either side. Original
timber-framed full gabled dormer with 3-light casement to left,
plain full gabled dormer with 3-light casement to right. C20
garage attached to left, not of special interest. Pebbledashed
rear wall with C20 raised eaves, 2-light and 3-light first floor
casements, C20 single-storey extension with brick stack. C19
English garden wall bond brick range attached to right of front has
2-light casements, half-hipped roof. Interior said to have blocked
open fireplace, chamfered beams.
